Happy St Patrick's day weekend! Before you start with the Irish dancing and bright green cocktails, begin your celebration with some sophisticated green bathroom inspiration. Here are our 7 favorites that give a nod to the Irish in varied shades of green.
To start things off, we love this green tile floor that we found by Danielle de Lange via Pinterest, below. If you look closely, the pattern resembles the famed Irish shamrock! The juxtaposition of the antique claw foot bathtub with a painted green twist is just lovely.
Green walls are another beautiful way to show Irish pride. The spa-inspired bathroom above is actually located on The Comeragh House property in Ireland (via William Montgomery) and shows how green can be easily incorporated into classically elegant bathroom design. Trending in modern bathrooms are brighter greens like the bathroom below via Vivaciously Vintage. Another sophisticated take on green walls is using green precious stones, like the gorgeous bathroom below created by Fiandre.
If those bathroom are a little too green for your taste, there are always green bathroom accessories! The green artwork, towels, and able in the bathroom below from Easy Living Magazine add a splash of color and movement to the white bathroom. You should know by now that we're obsessed with trendy shower curtains. While there doesn't seem to be any sophisticated ones featuring Celtic knots out there yet, this Simple Ogee Green by Aimee St Hill shower curtain featured on Society 6 is pretty great. It reminds us of the Irish countryside in summer!
